DIRECTOR'S GREETING
On behalf of the staff of the Medical School of IZIU, I would like to greet all of you who are meeting with us on this website.
Our branch school is the youngest of IZIU which is nearly 10,000 staff, and one of the leading private universities in Mongolia with nearly 30 years of experience. Our school was established in 2016 and is now in its sixth academic year, with the goal of making a real contribution to the noble cause of training skilled doctors and medical professionals based on the needs of society.
In the past, our team has created a training material base and technology that fully meets the needs of the Mongolian health sector and has reached the level of international medical universities, as well as providing highly educated and skilled teaching staff.
Today, our school has a comfortable classroom, 10 professional laboratories, more than 30 scientists and teachers, and through the mission of IZIU “Knowledge Producers and Wealth Creators” we are working to develop the School of Medicine into one of the leading branch schools of IZIU.
In the 21st century, which is the beginning of a new era, we will strive to train the best knowledgeable, capable, humane, and ethical medical professionals who can make a significant contribution to the development of Mongolia.

HISTORICAL BUREAU
The Medical School of IZIU was first established in 2016 and is now in its sixth year of enrollment in medicine. Starting from the 2021-2022 academic year, the class dentistry will receive its first enrollment, and this academic year will see its first graduation as an anthropologist. Today, Ikh Zasag Medical University has about 300 students and more than 30 teachers.
The Medical school of Ikh Zasag University has its own classroom with an area of 1386 m2 and can accommodate 750 students. The training is conducted using more than 10 laboratory cabinets and more than 10 seminar rooms, including psychology, surgery, nursing room, computers with 3D printers and Englishlab.
The school administrative conclude special attention to increasing and strengthening the material base, equip the laboratory cabinets with tools and equipment and spends 50-60 million MNT every year.
The school has a 60-bed “Uran Achlal” hospital and a kindergarten for children with disabilities in Down syndrome etc.
In addition, two food cafeterias and a duplicating unit have been set up at the school to provide students with the opportunity to learn. The school provides dormitories for students from rural areas, and more than 10 students live in dormitories for the 2020-2021 academic year.
The School of Medicine currently has the right to enroll in training in Medicine, Public Health, Traditional Medicine, AGE, Pharmacy and Nursing programs. In connection with this policy, we are developing projects to establish additional laboratories and allocating the necessary funds to the annual budget.
